DRY RIDGE, Ky.--After one day of soccer action from District 32 teams, nobody has scored against the four teams. Yes, that obviously means WVHS, GCHS, SKHS, and WHS are undefeated.
That all changes on Thursday, September 10, when Williamstown travels to Walton-Verona. These two "All A" teams will begin the district season.
WVHS scored seven times from five different players against Covington Latin during the season opener. But at the same time, Williamstown's Elijah Walters saved eight attempts on goal during the Demons shutout victory against Owen County.
Leading the scoring in the district is Evan Sims from SKHS with three goals. Mateo Mains and John Stranko from Walton-Verona each have two goals.
When it comes to team players, Pioneers' Nick Seger has three assists, Demons' Tyler Osborne has two, and SKHS' Ayden Theobold has one.
