WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky.--The Demons blaze trail through first four games of KHSAA soccer season.
Monday night, the boys from Williamstown hosted the Covington Latin Trojans. Five would score goals and the defense kept the Trojans away from the goal.
Elijah Walters had one save as goalie and Kyle Peck subbed for him later in the game. That is when the Walters scored his only goal of the season.
Kenner McClelland led all scoring with two goals, followed by Nathan Mefford who had one goal and an assist. Marcus Shultz, CJ Tien, and Walters each had one goal. Dalton Darlington and Brock Houchens each contributed an assist.
On Saturday, the Demons won in Overtime against KHSAA District 23 and cross county rival Grant County. Grant Houchens scored the only goal on a penalty kick and Walters had nine saves as goalie.
